Information and Reference of illegal stamps in the name of Burkina Faso

On requests by collectors and associates in the fight against counterfeit illegal stamps, I present this section of the study.

Burkina Faso (formerly Upper Volta) has never requested to have a UPU Circular made describing illegal stamps in their county name. This is because until recent years it appears no counterfeit illegal stamps were made. Sadly in 2015 that has all changed and now Burkina Faso is yet another country being victimized by ruthless counterfeit illegal stamp producers and their associated criminal stamp dealers.

Or use a respectable catalog like Scott or Stanley Gibbons. Do not listen to these dealers trying to convince you they are something other than illegal stamps. You will find that Burkina Faso from 2000 to present time is a very conservative stamp issuing entity.

All imaged illegal stamps are proven to be just that because they are not listed on the WNS site nor any catalog or other site either.

Many of the following illegal stamps can be found as imperforates. Many exist with fake cancels (CTO).
Most times now (2021) the souvenir sheet sets and sheetlet sets are sold individually. In some cases the stamps have been removed from the sheetlets and souvenir sheets. All of these "tactics" are used to avoid detection by experts.

Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.

The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.

If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.

Here we go!

Here is a brief summary.
The first illegal stamp set I found is dated 2010 and made by the Russian producer Topnimarka. This producer has created 237 counterfeit illegal stamp sets ranging in year dates from 2010 through 2020! I found either the British producer or one of the Eastern European producers created a series of counterfeit souvenir sheets dating 2015. I have also found that they produced another series dating 2019 in which there are 40 sets of souvenir sheets on topics ranging from animals to automobiles! All of the latter two series are being rampantly sold on the online auction venues like eBay by various criminal stamp dealers. the counterfeits and the dealers selling them need to be avoided by everyone.

In 2015 the Russian based dealers who I believe are also the producers appear. The company is called Topnimarka.com located in Moscow Russia.
They have created a new website called stamps-world.eu as well in 2019. Everything they are selling is fake and counterfeit stamps.
They are mass producing counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of many countries. The "styles" unique to themselves, these people are producing and selling counterfeit stamps at a massive rate dating to current times.

The Russian based company has produced the following counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Burkina Faso. They are not commonly seen on the main stamp market because we are fighting for you to keep them off the main market. Should this company be allowed to run accounts on the main stamp venues like eBay and Delcampe, you will see a new flood of illegal stamps worse than ever seen before. This company is consistently trying to create new accounts on the venues to move them into the main stream market. Should you see them on sites like eBay and Delcampe, you can report them to me and I can assure you that they will not be there long!

It is in 2016 that this criminal actually started producing illegal stamps in the name of Burkina Faso. The company did not come online until 2015. They did not produce any counterfeits in the name of Burkina Faso until 2016. All of the following illegal stamps shown on this page being distributed by Topnimarka.com are stamps that were produced in later years and back dated.

2010

For some strange reason (possibly by a request by a victimized customer) this one set was made dating 2010. The same thing happened for Namibia. Please visit the Namibia section of the study to cross reference.

No other illegal stamps detected until the year 2014.

2014

In 2017 Topnimarka produced two more set, this time dating them 2014.

2015

In 2015 either the British producer referenced throughout the study or one of the Eastern European producers created this next series of counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Burkina Faso. It must have not been too successful or they "got scared" by something because as suddenly as they began, they ended. At least until 2019. Noting that unlike the Russian counterfeits which you can find perforated and imperforate, these can also be found cancelled with fake postal cancels. Indeed none were ever postmarked in Burkina Faso!

Noting none of the counterfeit stamps have a year date inscribed. Only the fake cancel tells you the year they were created....supposedly.

Those users are:

tradercanada states to be located in Toronto, Latvia. Really??? A new seller as of January 7, 2020.
thestampbridge located in Birzai, Lithuania. The second account started in 2017.
philatelyandnumismatics located in Birzai, Lithuania. The main account started in 2015.
philatelieetnumismatiquefr located in Riga, Latvia. Also new as of August 28, 2019.

Sure looks like the same guy or possibly two guys to me! Does it to you? All have made it to the illegal stamps seller list.

Noting these are offered without the set of single stamp souvenir sheets. We have found with proof that this dealer makes sets on topics requested by customers. An example being a customer asks the dealer if they know of any stamps with a certain car or bird on it. As if by magic the dealer a month or two later contacts the customer stating he found one and presents a set like this one. What a scam.

This counterfeit set was produced in 2019 and back dated 2015. It was never on the market until 2019.

This set has been extensively and exclusively sold by the user mapka666 on eBay and is still presently being sold by the user as of March 2021. This shows direct connections between mapka666 and the counterfeit producer thus the user mapka666 is a criminal dealer that should not to be dealt with in any regards to stamp collecting. You cannot trust the dealer to sell you anything as he has in the past been caught selling forgeries and unauthorized reprints and consistently sells counterfeits like these in the name of many other countries as well. Avoid this verified illegal stamp dealer.

I found these counterfeit illegal stamps were being sold by Topnimarka as user kir30kirill on eBay in early 2020 before the user was kicked off for selling counterfeits.

You can see just how evil this company is. Back dating counterfeits to "look" like they were made earlier and using every other tactic to rip you off! This page alone shows how little Burkina Faso and the UPU know about what is really going on. This is why stricter laws, rules and enforcement need to be established against these types of criminal producers and their distributors in which to apprehend and bring them all to justice no matter what country they reside in or run to when exposed.

For 2016 the production of counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Burkina Faso gets worse.
