Information and Reference of Counterfeit Illegal Stamps for Gabon that date 2018
Online research shows that the first counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Gabon (Republique Gabonaise) were produced in 2006. Although Gabon is a
member of the Universal Postal Union, up to this time (January 2020) they have never formally posted a UPU circular denouncing any of them. We are working
toward having this done soon.
The following images are of counterfeit illegal stamps produced in the name of Gabon dating 2018. Please remember that the producers of these illegal stamps are not only greedy,
they are crude and sometimes disgusting which is the nature of these people.

You will find the styles and designs of the following illegal stamps completely different.

All of the following illegal stamps can be found as imperforates. Many are found as color proofs and many fake First Day Covers have been produced as well.
Many times now (2020) the souvenir sheet sets are separated and are sold individually. Many times the stamps have been removed from the
souvenir sheets. All of these "tactics" are used to avoid detection by UPU circular descriptions and/or experts like myself.
Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are counterfeit illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer
that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer
because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites
then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.
The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe
and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.
If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will
only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.
2018
According to the WNS system 24 stamps are registered to have been issued in 2018. The Colnect catalog and the Stampworld catalog
and every other stamp catalog are not in agreement with this. The catalogs are stating the stamps were issued in 2019.
Specifying they were issued on January 24, 2019. The WNS system registers them as issued on December 31, 2018. There are
no First Day Covers I can find. Of course all used examples date 2019. I have found the catalogs to be wrong in dating
issued stamps with other countries. At this time the WNS system overrides all of the catalogs because the stamps are officially
registered with the UPU as being issued on December 31, 2018. If the catalog editors can show solid proof that the WNS system is wrong
then I would like to see it.
All of the following imaged issued stamps are considered to be in one set by both the WNS system and the catalogs.

Catalogs are confusing on these. The stamps are different sizes depending on if they are from the sheet, booklet or souvenir sheet. More detailed listings are needed than
what the catalogs provide. At this point no value has been placed in Scott catalog for any of the stamps.

And finally, this souvenir sheet of 11 stamps is not even mentioned in the Scott catalog. With this 24 stamp issue the catalogs need to follow the WNS systems registration closely
to be accurate and reliable as a source to collectors. At this point...they are neither.

On Hipstamps a real cesspool of known counterfeit dealers allowed to sell there. I note these goons all are moving into this venue
because they are being stopped on the other auction venues. Avoid!

In 2018 production of counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Gabon continue at a feverish rate! The Russian producer again dominates with an enormous increase to 63 sets.
globalphila styles increase to 13 sets and Lollini designed Space topical counterfeits also making a showing. Another rat producer also appears.
The British style counterfeits do not appear. Guess it got too much in the way of competition for them.....
Yet our "experts" at the UPU don't see a problem....

In 2018 we discovered another producer/distributor of counterfeit illegal stamps. The producer uses the user names spectre-stamps and sgistamps. The dealer was kicked
off eBay and Delcampe. This producer uses different addresses of hotels in remote locations. Svalbard, Norway or St. Gallen Switzerland for instance. Website is https://www.spectre-stamps.com/
Everything he tries to sell is counterfeit and is unique to this counterfeit dealer. The majority of what this dealer offers has no date inscribed on
the counterfeit stamps. Therefore only the word of this con is taken from the descriptions. This con has also produced many fake color proof sets of the counterfeits. None
of them are worth the paper they are printed on. Beware this user who keeps popping up like a roach. The user recently attempted to "re-open" shop on eBay calling himself arctic-stamps.
He has been promptly removed again. We are looking for this clown to attempt to get on again. Beware of any user selling these kind of unique counterfeit stamps and avoid that website!
I will note them as counterfeits stamps made by spectre-stamps.

Noting these cons do this with many counterfeits from the victimized countries, either to throw off detection or simply because of laziness. I prefer the latter.
Noting also that you can see the obvious association of these people as they always do the same kind of errors with the counterfeit listings. These people get
commissions for selling the counterfeits for the producers. The producer gives them a bunch. When one is sold the distributor gets a percentage of the profit
and the producer gets the rest. Real slick operation. Take down the distributors and you will take down the producers.

We can see that counterfeit production has gone way too far in the name of Gabon. We can see there are only a few people involved in this crime.
Those people should be brought to justice and dealt with in the harshest manner of legal action against them. Gabon and the UPU should be ashamed of what they have allowed to happen.
This shows us the complete lack of strong leadership within the UPU.
In 2019 yet another astounding number of counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Gabon are produced!
