Information and Reference of Counterfeit Illegal Stamps for Gabon that date 2011

Online research shows that the first counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Gabon (Republique Gabonaise) were produced in 2006. Although Gabon is a member of the Universal Postal Union, up to this time (January 2020) they have never formally posted a UPU circular denouncing any of them. We are working toward having this done soon.

The following images are of counterfeit illegal stamps produced in the name of Gabon dating 2011. Please remember that the producers of these illegal stamps are not only greedy, they are crude and sometimes disgusting which is the nature of these people.

Or use a respectable catalog like Scott or Stanley Gibbons. Do not listen to these dealers trying to convince you they are something other than illegal stamps.

You will find the styles and designs of the following illegal stamps completely different.

All of the following illegal stamps can be found as imperforates. Many are found as color proofs and many fake First Day Covers have been produced as well.
Many times now (2020) the souvenir sheet sets are separated and are sold individually. Many times the stamps have been removed from the souvenir sheets. All of these "tactics" are used to avoid detection by UPU circular descriptions and/or experts like myself.

Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are counterfeit illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.

The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.

If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.

2011

According to the WNS system three stamps are registered to have been issued in 2011. Both the Stampworld and Colnect online catalogs are in agreement with this.

There is one conflict. According to the Colnect catalog the stamps were issued on June 23, 2011. The dates must have been taken from the major stamp catalogs and therefore again we have errors. The registration of date of issue on the WNS system always overrides what the catalogs state in my book as the registration of stamps by the countries is official in all regards.

It is therefore understood that any stamp dating 2011 in the name of Gabon other than the above issues is a Counterfeit Illegal Stamp!

In 2011 it appears that only the British producer created more counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Gabon. He continued with the "The 100 Great Men of World History" series he started in 2010 and added a Chinese New Year souvenir sheet. Again, please avoid buying them from any dealer. They are worthless in all regards.

Again, we can see that even though the title inscription states "men" there are women in the series as well. The producer is so "patriarchal" in nature.



2011 John Lennon in Souvenir Sheet of 1

This is a "ploy" toward popularity rather than what the inscription's title is about. Yes, John Lennon was a "great musician" and such but in comparison with all the others being portrayed this really does not "add up" except to sell counterfeit stamps to Beatles fans and to who is "great" in the producers own mind.

In 2012 globalphila virtually takes over and the Russian producer returns. A war for control of Gabon counterfeit illegal stamp production begins.....
