Information and Reference of illegal stamps for Mozambique dating in 2012 and 2013

In 2012 Stamperija continues to print stamps for Mozambique in excess! The count of stamps produced in the name of Mozambique for this year is 846!

As I stated on the introduction, the WNS system is short on what is real. Unfortunately they stopped listing the stamps of Mozambique in 2006 and have nothing from that time forward.

I have found the Colnect online catalog to be very helpful. Sadly because of the glut of abusive issues it is a pain to go through all the pages.

I have found the Stampworld.com Catalog to be very helpful as well but there are problems. Again, because of the abuse many of the pages are extremely long. They are listing some of the illegal stamps there as if they are ok simply because one rouge catalog continues to list them. The 2004 (which they list as a 2006) EUROPA "issue" for one.

Again, I say the major catalogs should stick with the rules they portray in not listing abusive, overproduced stamps that have no evidence of postal usage. Sadly in the recent years they are breaking their own rules and ethics by listing them. At the rate Stamperija is going, Scott catalog will have to add another catalog just to cover them! Shame on the editors for bowing down to abusive stamp agencies. More than likely their are some "bad apples" within the editing departments who are getting kickbacks for getting the garbage listed!

Here we go!

Many of the following illegal stamps can be found as imperforates and as color proof sets as well. Many exist on fake First Day Covers too.
Most times now (2022) the souvenir sheet sets and sheetlet sets are sold individually. Many times the stamps have been removed from the sheetlets and souvenir sheets. All of these "tactics" are used to avoid detection by experts and savvy collectors.

Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.

The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.

If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.

2012

In 2012 we can see that Montero finally stopped producing illegal stamps on the topic of the "History of the 21st Century". Stamperija continues to produce a massive glut of abusive issues. Noting that we can see that the British counterfeit producer and gang did not buy any Stamperija issues for this year. We can also see no illegal "varieties" of the issues are produced in this year. In 2017 the evil topnimarka.com based in Russia produced two sets and backdated it to 2012. This criminal will be explained on the 2015 page.

The two sets are obviously backdated to 2012 to make it "look" like they were issued in the same year as the Olympics of that year.

2013

In 2013 Stamperija continues to produce a massive glut of abusive issues in the name of Mozambique. As stated on the Colnect catalog, "Although this issue was authorized by the postal administration of Mozambique, the issue was not placed on sale in Mozambique, and was only distributed to the new issue trade by Mozambique's philatelic agent. In other words, never used in the country and therefore abusive. Stamperija produced a total of 799 different stamps in this year.

In 2013 we can see the British producer and "friends" again somehow get a hold of Stamperija issue "varieties" not authorized by Mozambique and not referenced in the major catalogs. All of them I found being sold on the Avion Stamps website. All of them are noted by the owner as "privately produced" meaning,
counterfeit illegal stamps.

In 2014 Stamperija continues the abuse, more unauthorized souvenir sheets from Stamperija sets are produced and topnimarka back dates a few more counterfeit sets in the name of Mozambique.
