Information and Reference of illegal stamps for Mozambique dating in 2014

In 2014 Stamperija continues to print stamps for Mozambique in excess! The count of stamps produced in the name of Mozambique for this year is 600!

As I stated on the introduction, the WNS system is short on what is real. Unfortunately they stopped listing the stamps of Mozambique in 2006 and have nothing from that time forward.

I have found the Colnect online catalog to be very helpful. Sadly because of the glut of abusive issues it is a pain to go through all the pages.

I have found the Stampworld.com Catalog to be very helpful as well but there are problems. Again, because of the abuse many of the pages are extremely long. They are listing some of the illegal stamps there as if they are ok simply because one rouge catalog continues to list them. The 2004 (which they list as a 2006) EUROPA "issue" for one.

Again, I say the major catalogs should stick with the rules they portray in not listing abusive, overproduced stamps that have no evidence of postal usage. Sadly in the recent years they are breaking their own rules and ethics by listing them. At the rate Stamperija is going, Scott catalog will have to add another catalog just to cover them! Shame on the editors for bowing down to abusive stamp agencies. More than likely their are some "bad apples" within the editing departments who are getting kickbacks for getting the garbage listed!

Here we go!

Many of the following illegal stamps can be found as imperforates and as color proof sets as well. Many exist on fake First Day Covers too.
Most times now (2022) the souvenir sheet sets and sheetlet sets are sold individually. Many times the stamps have been removed from the sheetlets and souvenir sheets. All of these "tactics" are used to avoid detection by experts and savvy collectors.

Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.

The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.

If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.

2014

In 2014 Stamperija continues to produce a massive glut of abusive issues. We can see illegal "varieties" of the issues are produced in this year. These being almost exclusively sold on the Avion Stamps website. All of them noted as "privately produced". Here is a snapshot proving it.

As you can see all are offered as "single" souvenir sheets at ridiculous pricing. A set of these illegal imperforate souvenir sheets would cost you 32GBP and a set of the fake color proof sets would cost you 160GBP! Avoid!

On the Colnect catalog you will find that all the 2014 "issues" made by Stamperija are listed with only Michel and in cases Yvert catalog numbers. It appears Scott catalog finally realized what Stamperija was doing and stopped listing them. They should be maintaining the policy for all countries this agent over produces stamps for.

This counterfeit set is also claimed on the Avion Stamps website to be made in 2015 in error. No fake color proof sets are offered.



In later years the evil topnimarka.com based in Russia produced three sets and backdated them to 2014. This criminal will be explained on the 2015 page.

The three sets are obviously backdated to 2014 to make it "look" like they were issued in the same year as the Ice Hockey Championship of that year and the Olympics of that year.

This counterfeit set was created in 2019 and back dated 2014. It was never on the market until 2019.

I found these counterfeit illegal stamps were being sold by Topnimarka as user kir30kirill on eBay in early 2020 before the user was kicked off for selling counterfeits.

In 2015 Stamperija continues the abuse, more unauthorized souvenir sheets from Stamperija sets are produced and topnimarka makes its debut with more counterfeit sets in the name of Mozambique.
