Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are counterfeit illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer
that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer
because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites
then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.
The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe
and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.
If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will
only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.
2019
In 2015 the Russian based dealers who I believe are also the producers appear. The company is called Topnimarka.com located in Moscow Russia.
The user name was kir30kirill on eBay although since November 2019 the user has been kicked off.
They have created a new website called stamps-world.eu as well in 2019. Everything they are selling is fake and counterfeit stamps.
They are of pure evil and were not listing on eBay by country name to avoid detection and mass producing counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of many countries.
The "styles" unique to themselves, these people are producing and selling counterfeit stamps at a massive rate dating to current times. They are even producing fake stamps
for countries controlled by Stamperija. Stamperija's owner has stated that he knows who most of the counterfeit producers are and has some control over stopping their productions
at least for countries he has contracts with. This is not the case for this producer. Being located in Russia, I guess they believe that nobody can stop them. I am exposing them
which is the first step. I will note them all "Russian Made Counterfeit Illegal Stamps" should the British producers fire up again....
In 2016 The Gambia reduced their number of topical issues considerably. I have found both online catalogs mentioned above to
be quite accurate. Since 1989 the country has had many topical issues produced. I note that it appears they have become more conservative starting in 2016.
In 2016 because there has been no retaliation against the Russian producer for any of the 2014-2015 counterfeits they produced, they have become emboldened.
Since then this one producer has created and is placing on the market this nightmare glut of counterfeit illegal stamps. Each year to present time (2020)
this producer is producing more and more counterfeits. It needs to be stopped not just for the Gambia, but all the countries this producer is targeting..
In 2018 the Russian counterfeiter produced 44 sets. This is at least everything dating 2018 that is presented on their website.
In 2019 they produced 52 sets. In other words....it gets worse.
This producer was removed off eBay in late 2019. Sadly their counterfeits are "bleeding" onto the market through other venues and dealers.
UPDATE 2020
At the end of November 2020 I have done a "back check" on this criminals activity for Gambia. I am sad to report that this criminal
has produced a massive number of sets since my check in January 2020. I have found this criminal has produced around 70 more sets since that time!
Around 27 of those sets have been "back dated" to 2019 with a small number back dated even further. This is possibly due to my reporting of the
criminals activities for Gambia which does effect his sales of the counterfeits, at least in the western world.
I will add the new sets that were back dated and sadly, will now add a 2020 page for Gambia.

This souvenir sheet of Dinosaurs I found being sold on eBay by a different dealer. It has the British producers style. A feeble attempt to compete?
I note that it appears only Yvert is listing 2019 issues supposedly issued by the Gambia. Why are they the only ones?
This souvenir sheet looks similar as far as the values yet it is not shown on either online catalog.
A sure sign these are counterfeit is the use of the country name. There is no "The" in it. All stamps from The Gambia that are genuine in the latter years
are inscribed "The Gambia". This is why the Russian made counterfeits are much more dangerous.

Here the Russian counterfeit producer makes four different sets of Mushroom related illegal stamps. A very popular topic. All of these....worthless
yet I observed the dealer selling them like hotcakes on eBay at $25.00 a set! I wonder if the Russian government got paid any taxes on all the profits
this company was making on eBay alone. Before the eBay account was shut down this dealer was bringing in over $7,000.00 a month in counterfeit stamp sales!!
As long as the UPU and the member countries sit on their hands on the problem, dealers like this will continue to wreck havoc on the stamp market and get away with it.

At present (January 2020) this producer is not creating new counterfeits dating 2020. As long as they do....we will alert!
Will it continue?
Most likely yes, unless the UPU and the Gambia start to take responsible action and perform their duty enacting legal action which they can fully do.
Now, sadly because as stated in the 2020 update above that this criminal continues to be allowed to produce counterfeit stamps, the status of this page is changed
and the creation of the 2020 page is enacted.
