Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are counterfeit illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.

If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.

In 2015 the Russian based dealers who I believe are also the producers appear. The company is called Topnimarka.com located in Moscow Russia. The user name was kir30kirill on eBay although since November 2019 the user has been kicked off. They have created a new website called stamps-world.eu as well in 2019. Everything they are selling is fake and counterfeit stamps. They are of pure evil and were not listing on eBay by country name to avoid detection and mass producing counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of many countries. The "styles" unique to themselves, these people are producing and selling counterfeit stamps at a massive rate dating to current times. They are even producing fake stamps for countries controlled by Stamperija. Stamperija's owner has stated that he knows who most of the counterfeit producers are and has some control over stopping their productions at least for countries he has contracts with. This is not the case for this producer. Being located in Russia, I guess they believe that nobody can stop them. I am exposing them which is the first step. I will note them all "Russian Made Counterfeit Illegal Stamps" should the British producers fire up again....

In 2016 The Gambia reduced their number of topical issues considerably. I have found both online catalogs mentioned above to be quite accurate. Since 1989 the country has had many topical issues produced. I note that it appears they have become more conservative starting in 2016.

In 2020 because there has been no retaliation against the Russian producer for any of the 2014-2019 counterfeits in the name of Gambia they produced, they have become emboldened. Since that time this one producer has created and is placing on the market this nightmare glut of counterfeit illegal stamps. Each year to present time (2020) this producer is producing more and more counterfeits. It needs to be stopped not just for the Gambia, but all the countries this producer is targeting..

This producer was removed off eBay in late 2019. Sadly their counterfeits are "bleeding" onto the market through other venues and dealers.

At the end of November 2020 I have done a "back check" on this criminals activity for Gambia. I am sad to report that this criminal has produced a massive number of sets since my check in January 2020. I have found this criminal has produced around 70 more sets since that time! Around 27 of those sets have been "back dated" to 2019 with a small number back dated even further. This is possibly due to my reporting of the criminals activities for Gambia which does effect his sales of the counterfeits, at least in the western world.

As of December 12, 2020 this criminal has produced and is marketing 43 counterfeit illegal stamp sets dating 2020 in the name of Gambia.

Apparently in 2020 sales of counterfeit illegal stamps on the topic of butterflies must be going well for this criminal as he has produced the following group of them. Avoid!

Again this criminal producer creates another glut of Stalin related propaganda sets. As if the Gambia would have anything to do with this trash which goes against the sovereignty of the Gambian nation entirely.

At present (December 2020) this producer is continuing to create new counterfeit stamp sets dating 2020. As long as they do....we will alert! Expect this criminal to add more sets dating 2020 in 2021 in the same fashion as shown on the 2019 page. All of these sets are being shown to the Gambia postal administration. Hopefully soon they will act!

Will it continue?
Most likely yes, unless the UPU and the Gambia start to take responsible action and perform their duty enacting legal action which they can fully do.
