Information and Reference of Illegal Stamps for Burundi Dating 2021

In 2021 a total of 12 different stamps in two sets were issued by Burundi. One featuring Fauna of Burundi and the other featuring Mahatma Gandhi. The Russian counterfeit producer topnimarka dominates production of illegal stamps in the name of Burundi in this year again but is virtually stopped because of the covid pandemic. In 2022 as the criminal resumes production we see them creating numerous sets and backdating them to previous years. Also the criminal illegal stamp peddler Lollini has a counterfeit set made.

To start, here are recommended sites to use for reference. As I stated, the WNS system is short and incomplete on what is real. The stamps that are shown should be researched further before you buy them.

I have found the Colnect online catalog to be very helpful. Sadly because of the glut of abusive issues in some years it is a pain to go through those pages.

Many of the following illegal stamps can be found as imperforates and as color proof sets as well. Many exist on fake First Day Covers too.
Most times now (2022) the souvenir sheet sets and sheetlet sets are sold individually. Many times the stamps have been removed from the sheetlets and souvenir sheets. All of these "tactics" are used to avoid detection by experts and savvy collectors.

Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.

The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.

If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.

2021

In 2021 the pandemic causes chaos among all the counterfeit producers. Most shut down new productions due to covid and the lock downs. Still some did not. The British producer continued with production of Chad and Madagascar counterfeits. When I was researching the problem for 2021 issues topnimarka had made a couple counterfeit sets at the beginning of 2021 and then suddenly stopped. Later, in 2022, I checked back on the research as those couple sets were the only sets offered on the criminal website and to our disappointment, we can see the criminal has started productions again.

What is interesting is the fact the criminal as of April 2022 has produced numerous sets and back dated them to 2020 and 2021. These counterfeit stamp sets were not on the site all through 2021 and only recently were added in 2022. The criminal is obviously back filling the huge gap created because of the pandemic.

In searching for illegal stamps dating 2021, I found the criminal Lollini has had another counterfeit set made on the topic of space. This set appears to be yet another topnimarka style of production which has been proven to be so in other country sections of my study. Criminals like spectre-stamps have been given "exclusive" sets of which several were perfectly matched with several sets that were/are offered on the topnimarka website. They being the exact same "styles" as the following set currently being offered exclusively by Espace Lollini. In most cases these counterfeit souvenir sheets are not offered on the topnimarka website, which in my view, is to give the criminal distributors "exclusive" selling rights as favor to move other counterfeits originating from topnimarka. The "network" of these criminals is small to say the least. It would really be a simple task for the UPU members who are effected, to unite and take legal actions against these low life dealers. The evidence to convict, plastered all over the internet. The direct connection between these distributors and the counterfeiters is obvious.

So, here first is the counterfeit set being sold by Lollini. Advise is to avoid them and especially to avoid the criminal dealer Lollini who is an exclusive seller of counterfeit stamps in the name of many countries who started this decades ago. No catalogs produced by this criminal are legitimate. A major part of souvenir sheets, stamps and first day covers offered by this clown are counterfeit. Also noting this dealer still remain a proud member of the IPDA even though the directors of that association know this criminal to be a major illegal stamp peddling con. I feel sorry for all the collectors of space related stamps who have been fooled and ripped off by this obvious shyster.

I note the criminals logo on them so all can see who is promoting this garbage. Sorry for the slight blur of the image. This criminal also uses the tactic of presenting small images for what can be a variety of reasons of which most are intents to deceive you.

Does the criminal state anything about them not being real stamps? Absolutely not! If he did, they would probably not sell at all!
We can see obviously, that after the Stamperija fiasco in 2012 this criminal has nothing in the name of Burundi until this 2021 counterfeit set. Expect to see fake first day covers of this illegal stamp set appearing from this clown next.

As stated above, except for a couple counterfeit sets produced in early 2021 by the criminal Russian producer and distributor topnimarka, a complete halt of production by this criminal occurred in 2021. Production appears to have resumed in 2022. Hopefully, because of the major sanctions placed on Russia, it will hamper this criminal even further. Maybe it will even destroy his ability all together! That is doubtful though as criminals like this never go away as we can see with the British producer, Eastern European producers and the distributors they use and have used for decades.

What is happening at present times in mid 2022, is the criminal is producing sets and back dating them to "fill in" the void left by the stoppage of production. As of April 13, 2021, this criminal has produced more sets and back dated them during the first three months of 2022 than he has made of counterfeit sets inscribed with 2022 year dates!

The Russian based company has produced the following counterfeit illegal stamps dating 2021 in the name of Burundi. They are not commonly seen on the main stamp market because we are fighting for you to keep them off the main market. Should this company be allowed to run accounts on the main stamp venues like eBay and Delcampe, you will see a new flood of illegal stamps worse than ever seen before. This company is consistently trying to create new accounts on the venues to move them into the main stream market. Should you see them on sites like eBay and Delcampe, you can report them to me and I can assure you that they will not be there long!

I have discovered that this company is producing counterfeit stamps in later years and back dating them. For Burundi, this is the case for a most of the sets dating 2021! He has produced 12 different sets dating 2021 of which 8 of the sets were made in 2022 and back dated. More could be and probably will be added at any time. Avoid them all!

In 2022, unfortunately Burundi apparently gives a new contract to Stamperija. The abuse begins immediately again. Guess these leaders of the countries using this abusive stamp agent just cannot get it through their heads that using these kind of stamp agencies only hurts their reputation and discredits them as a viable country to collect stamps from.
