Information and Reference of Illegal Stamps for Burundi Dating 2015

In 2015 Impressor S.A. continues to produce abusive stamps in the name of Burundi. The Eastern European counterfeit producer stops production of counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Burundi and the British producer appears to make a small attempt to "return". Funny how it is after Stamperija no longer had a contract with the country.

To start, here are recommended sites to use for reference. As I stated, the WNS system is short and incomplete on what is real. The stamps that are shown should be researched further before you buy them.

I have found the Colnect online catalog to be very helpful. Sadly because of the glut of abusive issues in some years it is a pain to go through those pages.

I have found the Stampworld.com Catalog to be very helpful as well but there are problems. Again, because of the abuse many of the pages are extremely long.

Many of the following illegal stamps can be found as imperforates and as color proof sets as well. Many exist on fake First Day Covers too.
Most times now (2022) the souvenir sheet sets and sheetlet sets are sold individually. Many times the stamps have been removed from the sheetlets and souvenir sheets. All of these "tactics" are used to avoid detection by experts and savvy collectors.

Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.

The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.

If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.

2015

In 2015 Impressor S.A. "appears" to still have a contract with Burundi. Problems with this again appear with this agency. We see that the WNS system shows no stamps being certified for 2015 for Burundi. We see that only Michel and apparently Yvert are listing some. We see that the Stampworld online catalog is listing 99 stamps. We see that Colnect is listing only 30 stamps with all but a couple having only Michel catalog numbers. We see only one seller who constantly "yells" "OFFICIAL ISSUE" has massively sold on Delcampe. At present time in 2022 there are very few offers on Delcampe for any of them. We see on eBay virtually only one seller of some asking ridiculous prices. That being the notorious illegal stamp peddling marlen-stamps. Mass were being offered by lousy counterfeit selling dealers like mapka666 before the war in Ukraine. So, you see there is a problem with the issues made by Impressor already.

Another major problem with the "issues" is that they all have the year dating 2014! Why? A few, ok but all of them? Come on! My take, and it is my take only, is that Impressor lost the contract after Burundi realized this rouge agency was doing the exact same thing as Stamperija did in 2011 through 2013 and dropped them. It "looks" like they were trying to produce a mass of stamps for 2014 and Burundi said enough is enough before Impressor could get them all placed in the 2014 listings. Rather than concede and move on, they continued to place unauthorized stamps onto the stamp market. This has been proven to be true for several other victimized countries and only through corrupt influence have many of them been listed in the Michel and Yvert catalogs. Prove me wrong. Show the proof of authorization.

The bottom line is the agency mass produces them, makes tons of "varieties" of them and their dating on them is completely a mess. These are just a few reasons why it is recommended not to buy Burundi stamps except for what is listed on the WNS system. I would simply say, don't buy the stamps for years either of those two agencies made them without full research. None of them are "rare" and all of them have depreciated in value in a very short time because they are mass produced in excess of postal needs and printed under unsecure settings. Another case (just like illegal stamps) where if they run out, they can just print more any time they want.

In 2015 it appears the British producer made a feeble attempt to start again. I found only the following two counterfeit souvenir sheets on the market of which it is obviously the same styles as previous counterfeits made by this producer.

That is all I spotted. There may be more so be careful.

In 2015 the Russian based dealers who I believe are also the producers appear. The company is called Topnimarka.com located in Moscow Russia.
They have created a new website called stamps-world.eu as well in 2019. Everything they are selling is fake and counterfeit stamps.
They are mass producing counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of many countries. The "styles" unique to themselves, these people are producing and selling counterfeit stamps at a massive rate dating to current times.

The Russian based company has produced the following counterfeit illegal stamps dating 2015 in the name of Burundi. They are not commonly seen on the main stamp market because we are fighting for you to keep them off the main market. Should this company be allowed to run accounts on the main stamp venues like eBay and Delcampe, you will see a new flood of illegal stamps worse than ever seen before. This company is consistently trying to create new accounts on the venues to move them into the main stream market. Should you see them on sites like eBay and Delcampe, you can report them to me and I can assure you that they will not be there long!

I have discovered that this company is producing counterfeit stamps in later years and back dating them. For Burundi this is the case for all sets dating 2015. Evidence shows the producer did not start creating Burundi sets until 2016. He has produced 6 different sets dating 2015 of which all of the sets were made after 2015 and back dated. More could be added at any time. Avoid them all!

In 2016 Impressor creates more stamps and all illegal stamp producers stop except for topnimarka. Instead topnimarka increases production with a huge production of illegal stamps in the name of Burundi.
