Information and Reference of Illegal Stamps for Burundi Dating 2012

In 2012 Stamperija continues to produce abusive stamps in the name of Burundi. The British counterfeit producer appears to have completely halted all production of counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Burundi.

To start, here are recommended sites to use for reference. As I stated, the WNS system is short and incomplete on what is real. The stamps that are shown should be researched further before you buy them.

Many of the following illegal stamps can be found as imperforates and as color proof sets as well. Many exist on fake First Day Covers too.
Most times now (2022) the souvenir sheet sets and sheetlet sets are sold individually. Many times the stamps have been removed from the sheetlets and souvenir sheets. All of these "tactics" are used to avoid detection by experts and savvy collectors.

Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.

The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.

If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.

In 2012 Stamperija continues to have a contract to print stamps in the name of Burundi. As shown time and again, this agency produces massive numbers of what are known as abusive stamp issues and sadly, for Burundi, this is the case again. For 2012 Stamperija produced a massive 671 different stamps in sets and souvenir sheets doubling production. You have to ask yourself, why a country which had a conservative stamp issuing program for several decades, all of a sudden needs this quantity of stamps to be produced. It is now obvious...they did not.

In 2012 the British counterfeit producers styles of counterfeit illegal stamps completely stops. Reasons are explored on the previous page. In 2012 one of the Eastern European counterfeit producers seems to "take over" production of illegal stamps in the name of Burundi. This producer creating numerous sets in a completely different "style" than the British styles. This new type of counterfeits do not have any year dating inscribed on them. A few can sort of be defined by the topic they commemorate. The dating of them then can only be defined through sellers that are selling them past and present.

I have found the majority of the following illegal stamps were being sold on Delcampe. They are on the other main stamp venues but are found sparingly throughout. I have found through the past sales of them in combination with present sales a consensus between dealers of the year of "issue". I found one seller by the user name sensieboyke on Delcampe located in Belgium (one region these are coming from) selling a number of them in 2020. This user claiming they were made in 2010. An obvious "ploy" to avoid being stopped from selling them. Numerous sellers in the past stating they are 2012 issues, of which, most of them have since lost their accounts for selling counterfeit goods. So, the point of this is to let you know this style of illegal stamps with no year date can pop up in any number of searches by year. This is purposely by design of the criminal(s) behind the production and distribution of them.

Many of the images that were "better images" I obtained from the user Stamps_and_More located in the Netherlands who is presently in 2022 selling these counterfeits on Delcampe. This and another ghoul dealer by the user name gazmito located in Slovakia are the only two at present selling the following set in individual souvenir sheets. The user europost-stamps located in the Netherlands is selling many as well on eBay and the corrupted Hipstamp website at present. As you can see, all these rotten dealers are located in Eastern Europe. One is suspected to be the producer of them. There is no argument on who is selling them as the data is live and online for anyone to see. A permanent record that can be used against them in a court of law.

A lot of these people, many being computer illiterate, do not realize that their sales are recorded and held for many years by the stamp venues. Thus it is an easy task to find it with legal authorization and exposing what they sold, when and for how much. Tax evasion surely prominent but the evidence needed to prove massive sales of counterfeit goods as well. Thus placing the seller in jeopardy of losing all material items (because they were or possibly were purchased with money obtained from selling counterfeit goods) and the risk of losing any freedoms they have because they are sitting in prison!

In 2013 Stamperija continues the abuse while the Eastern European counterfeit producer gleefully makes some more counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Burundi.
