Information and Reference of illegal stamps for Rwanda

The following images are of illegal stamps produced for Rwanda. Please remember that the producers of these illegals are not only greedy, they are crude and sometimes disgusting which is the nature of these people.

On January 30, 2017 the postal administration for Rwanda by request to Harald Weyerich (Acting Director of Logistics) posted to the Universal Postal Union yet another circular warning of the discovery of more illegal stamps created with their country name that are on the market. The circular is number 19. You can view the circular in its entirety in the PDF file I have linked here.

The circular describes that the Mountain Gorillas set and the Art and Culture sets are the last sets issued by Rwanda and that all issues dating later are illegal stamps.
It describes and images (first time usage of images) an illegal stamp set themed "Heroes of the Soviet Union". To this day as of May 2019 the circular still holds true.
No more stamps have been issued by Rwanda since!

It is shocking to many what I am about to show you. I am presenting pages to show the Rwanda postal authorities how bad this is. I hope that this will help convince Rwanda and many other countries that actions must be taken to stop the production and sales of counterfeit illegal stamps.
The stamp dealers and producers behind this must be made accountable for the criminal damage they have done not only to the victimized countries, but to the stamp market as a whole.

To find out what stamps are real and legitimate for Rwanda from 2002 until now, visit the UPU WNS website and look at the Rwanda section.

You will find that only 3 sets of stamps have been officially issued by Rwanda since 1999 as of 2021! Everything else out there dating from 1999 until now are fake illegal stamps!

Or use a respectable catalog like Scott or Stanley Gibbons. Do not listen to these dealers trying to convince you they are something other than illegal stamps.

Here we go!

Many of the following illegal stamps can be found as imperforates and as color proof sets as well. Many exist on fake First Day Covers too.
Most times now (2019) the souvenir sheet sets and sheetlet sets are sold individually. Many times the stamps have been removed from the sheetlets and souvenir sheets. All of these "tactics" are used to avoid detection by UPU circular descriptions.

Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.

The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.

If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.

2006

In 2006 the production of the Feigenbaum styles of counterfeit illegal stamps came to a complete halt. The Stampdile database shows us that they completely stopped production in 2006 and did not start again until 2009. You ask why we know this? Because you can go to the Avion Stamps website (at least for now) and look for yourself. No Rwanda "stamps" offered for the years in question. We have retained the database so if the Avion site goes down....we still have the database on file.

The reasons why the production came to such a sudden stop in 2006 is not known. It is probably because of the fact that Rwanda had so many U.P.U. circulars made that the producer got "scared" and stopped for fear of being exposed and possible legal action taken by Rwanda against him. These people are like snakes and will slither under rocks when they are threatened.

In my search for counterfeit stamps I found only two souvenir sheets dating 2006 and they are produced by a different counterfeit illegal stamp producer. At present (2019) they are offered only by one dealer on Hipstamps. User name is Bentley1Stamp located in the UK. A notorious counterfeit illegal stamp dealer not to be trusted.
These same two fake souvenir sheets were offered by a user named robling on Delcampe back in 2017 who is www.Thematicstamps.nl in the Netherlands. The owners are Jennie and Rob van Lingen who are yet more counterfeit illegal stamp dealers not to be trusted. Supposedly upstanding stamp dealers who are members of the IFSDA (International Federation of Stampdealers Associations) and the NVPH (Nederlandse Vereniging van Postzegelhandelaren Dutch Stampdealers Association). Why are these associations allowing dealers like this to be members for? They are breaking all codes of ethics that these associations stand for by selling counterfeit stamps. Again all evidence is recorded and retained so these people cannot deny the fact of what they are. Counterfeit Illegal Stamp Dealers ripping off collectors for years!

It is therefore determined that any stamp dating 2006 in the name of Rwanda is a counterfeit illegal stamp!

2007

In my search for counterfeit stamps I found only one souvenir sheet dating 2007 and it was again produced by a different counterfeit illegal stamp producer. It was sold in 2016 on Delcampe and has not been offered since.

It is therefore determined that any stamp dating 2007 in the name of Rwanda is a counterfeit illegal stamp!

2008

In my search for counterfeit stamps I found a number of stamps and souvenir sheets dating 2008 and these were produced by a different counterfeit illegal stamp producer than the above.These are illegally using the WWF (World Wildlife Federation) logo on the souvenir sheets and are completely fake. The only seller of all of these fake bird topical stamps is user 12345_12345 on Delcampe located in the Netherlands. The seller offers a quantity of what appear to be exclusively offered counterfeit stamps and is therefore....not to be trusted.

It is therefore determined that any stamp dating 2008 in the name of Rwanda is a counterfeit illegal stamp!

This last one I found is yet another different "style". It was sold in 2016 and has not appeared again.

In 2009 the production of counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Rwanda returns with a vengeance. The Stampdile database of fake stamps dominating once again.
