SOUTH GEORGIA

South Georgia stamps printed by Format International Security Printers Ltd.

South Georgia is a dependency of the Falkland Islands.
From July 17, 1963 to May 5, 1980 South Georgia and the Sandwich Islands used stamps inscribed "South Georgia".
Only one set of stamps was printed by the Format Printers during this time period with the south Georgia inscription.

Interestingly Scott Catalog describes the stamps as the 25th anniversary which is wrong.
