A Crown Colony created on November 8, 1965 comprising the Chagos Archipelago, previously administered bt Mauritius, together with the islands of Aldabra, Farquhar and Desroches, previously administered by Seychelles.
The Format Printers only produced one set for this Territory before it reverted in 1976 when Seychelles gained independence.
