Information and Reference of illegal stamps for Mozambique dating in 2016

In 2016 Stamperija continues to print stamps for Mozambique in excess! The count of stamps produced in the name of Mozambique for this year is 750!

An interesting point on why this agency is so bad in regards to illegal stamps is the consistent existence of ridiculous pages Stamperija has posted on the internet on the status of illegal stamps made in the name of countries this agent controls or has controlled in the past. Firstly, these pages exist and remain online even after Stamperija has lost contracts and no longer is an agent of the country. The pages "rigged" to look like they are the "official" agent of the country when in fact they are not. The pages remain for the sole purpose of use as a portal to drive visitors to the agents site to sell stamps...period.

On these pages is a page on illegal stamps made in the name of the specific country the page is made for. In it it has a diversionary explanation of what illegal stamps are which tries to separate them from any reference to them being counterfeit. Sorry Satas, they are counterfeit in every way. What is so deceptive about the pages is the fact that on almost all of them the agent wishes to portray they have no awareness of the existence of illegal stamps in the name of the specified country. In some cases they will put one or two illegal stamps on as if those are the only ones they are aware of. Due to email communications with the owner of Stamperija, I can assure you of the fact that Stamperija is fully aware of the tons of illegal stamps in the name of the specified country which they claim they are not aware of and have to this day in 2022 left the pages exactly the same as they have for years. I am quite certain that they do not relay any information of the problem to the postal administrations of the countries in question. Namely, because they are supposed to be responsible in policing the problem, when it is discovered that someone is producing counterfeit stamps in the name of the country they are responsible for running the stamp program for.

For Mozambique there is no exception. Despite the obvious production of counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of Mozambique by the British counterfeit producer between 2001 and 2011. Despite their own illegal productions of sets and consequential distribution of them through the British producers distribution network. Despite the major production of counterfeit illegal stamps by the Russian counterfeit producing company topnimarka.com starting in 2015 and running to present time in 2022. This "agency" wishes to say there are no illegal stamps made in the name of Mozambique that they are aware of! In other words,
they are lying to you.

Stamperija Lie in Regards to Illegal Stamp Awareness for Mozambique


As I stated on the introduction, the WNS system is short on what is real. Unfortunately they stopped listing the stamps of Mozambique in 2006 and have nothing from that time forward.

I have found the Colnect online catalog to be very helpful. Sadly because of the glut of abusive issues it is a pain to go through all the pages.

I have found the Stampworld.com Catalog to be very helpful as well but there are problems. Again, because of the abuse many of the pages are extremely long. They are listing some of the illegal stamps there as if they are ok simply because one rouge catalog continues to list them. The 2004 (which they list as a 2006) EUROPA "issue" for one.

Again, I say the major catalogs should stick with the rules they portray in not listing abusive, overproduced stamps that have no evidence of postal usage. Sadly in the recent years they are breaking their own rules and ethics by listing them. At the rate Stamperija is going, Scott catalog will have to add another catalog just to cover them! Shame on the editors for bowing down to abusive stamp agencies. More than likely their are some "bad apples" within the editing departments who are getting kickbacks for getting the garbage listed!

Many of the following illegal stamps can be found as imperforates and as color proof sets as well. Many exist on fake First Day Covers too.
Most times now (2022) the souvenir sheet sets and sheetlet sets are sold individually. Many times the stamps have been removed from the sheetlets and souvenir sheets. All of these "tactics" are used to avoid detection by experts and savvy collectors.

Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.

The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.

If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.

In 2016 Stamperija continues to produce a massive glut of abusive issues. The sale of illegal stamp productions ends on the British side in this year. Nothing else offered on the Avion Stamps website after 2015. None of the other distributors of illegal stamps offer anything after that year using the name of Mozambique. Only topnimarka is now producing counterfeits in the name of Mozambique.

On the Colnect catalog you will find that all the 2016 "issues" made by Stamperija are listed with only Michel and in cases Yvert catalog numbers. Scott catalog finally realized what Stamperija was doing and stopped listing them. They should be maintaining the policy for all countries this agent over produces stamps for. The Colnect catalog notes all of the Stamperija "issues" stating:
"Although this issue was authorized by the postal administration of Mozambique, the issue was not placed on sale in Mozambique, and was only distributed to the new issue trade by Mozambique's philatelic agent."
In other words the agent makes the "stamps" breaking every rule set out by the UPU on stamp printing best practices, and then only makes direct sales of them through their personal website. Exactly the same as the counterfeit illegal stamp producers do! The only thing is they are made "legal" because Mozambique "acknowledges" them. What a racket!

In 2015 the evil Russian based counterfeit illegal stamp producing and distributing company topnimarka attacks in full force!

In 2015 the Russian based dealers who I believe are also the producers appear. The company is called Topnimarka.com located in Moscow Russia.
They have created a new website called stamps-world.eu as well in 2019. Everything they are selling is fake and counterfeit stamps.
They are mass producing counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of many countries. The "styles" unique to themselves, these people are producing and selling counterfeit stamps at a massive rate dating to current times.

The Russian based company has produced the following counterfeit illegal stamps dating 2016 in the name of Mozambique. They are not commonly seen on the main stamp market because we are fighting for you to keep them off the main market. Should this company be allowed to run accounts on the main stamp venues like eBay and Delcampe, you will see a new flood of illegal stamps worse than ever seen before. This company is consistently trying to create new accounts on the venues to move them into the main stream market. Should you see them on sites like eBay and Delcampe, you can report them to me and I can assure you that they will not be there long!

I have discovered that this company is producing counterfeit stamps in later years and back dating them. For Mozambique this is the case for numerous sets dating 2016. He has produced 43 different sets dating 2016 of which 8 of the sets were made after 2016 and back dated. More could be added at any time. Avoid them all!
