The following images are of illegal stamps produced for the Ivory Coast. Please remember that the producers of these illegals are not only greedy, they are crude and sometimes disgusting which is the nature of these people.

According to the postal administration for the Ivory Coast all officially issued stamps for the Ivory Coast starting in 2002 are listed on the WNS website and are updated to the present time. This means that if the stamp is not listed on the WNS system that it is an illegal stamp. There is no argument against this that can be made. If you have an argument against any of the following determined illegal stamp issues as to their validity, then take it up with the Ivory Coast postal administration. You will find...you cannot win. You can also use a respectable catalog like Scott or Stanley Gibbons. Do not listen to these dealers trying to convince you they are something other than illegal stamps.

In 2004 when the Ivory Coast produced circular 63 they did not know that there were more illegal stamps that were being circulated than what they listed. This has occurred for many of the victim countries. To correct it I have researched them all using the major catalog listings and the WNS system as reference to what was officially issued.

Here we go!

Many of the following illegal stamps can be found as imperforates and as color proof sets as well. Some exist on fake First Day Covers too.
Most times now (2018) the souvenir sheet sets and sheetlet sets are sold individually. Many times the stamps have been removed from the sheetlets and souvenir sheets. All of these "tactics" are used to avoid detection by UPU circular descriptions and search terms.

Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.

The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.

If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.

2009

Due to political conflicts stamp production virtually ceased for the Ivory Coast. In 2008 two stamps were officially issued. After that it was not until 2013 that any more official stamps were issued for the Ivory Coast according to the WNS system.

It is strange that illegal stamp production virtually ceased between the years 2005 until 2009. See the previous pages to see what happened.

In 2009 the illegal stamps for the Ivory Coast began being produced again. This time on an even more massive scale than earlier times. Any stamps with the Cote d'Ivoire country name on them dating 2009 through 2012 are illegal stamps. There is no denial of that fact. Following are images of the illegal stamps I have found offered for the Ivory coast dating 2009. There may and probably are more. All of these I found in searches on eBay and Delcampe and all are illegal stamps made by producers bent on ripping you off!

Following is a gigantic set of single stamps that I just discovered existed. It is probably about the largest (in numbers) of counterfeit illegal stamps ever made for one set. It has been offered by the user on eBay named kleo53 located in Estonia for years and appears to be exclusively controlled by the dealer. At least until now this means the dealer owns the complete stock of them. At the time of discovery I could not find anyone else offering even one of them. I do not think I have images of every one in the set as what I acquired were 302 of them. All the images except for three are from this dealers sales. All being sold in individual single stamp sales with no reference to the country of origin of which they were never made for in the first place. I found three outside of eBay shown on random websites. This shows us there are more than 300 different ones out there! Perhaps you have the other missing ones? I note some of the people imaged on the fake stamps have two different stamps with different images. I also note this dealer has been offering and selling this junk at $2-5.00 a stamp! This means to get all of them you would have to pay the dealer around $1000.00! That is a total and complete rip-off which is what this dealer is! Avoid buying anything from dealers like this. This one has been offering over 6,000+ counterfeit stamp sales of their 10,000+ sales on eBay for years.
This one dealer alone has managed to rip off thousands of topical and memorabilia collectors for years. It is time to end it.

FAMOUS PEOPLE

First I would like to show you an example of how these criminals that create these counterfeit stamps infringe on copyrights. Here is the John Lennon "stamp" from this issue.


Here is the original painting it was stolen from. Note the copyright logo and the printed copyright at the bottom are added by the now non-existent CelebrityWonders.com website.


We can see the counterfeiters removed the background on this particular image. On many of the following they did not.
The copyright logos on the image are the first infringement on copyright laws as these counterfeiters are using the image for profits. The second infringement is against the artist. The artist made all of the following images on the stamps and they have stolen the artists work blatantly. This is just one example of the now thousands upon thousands of criminal usages of copyright materials on counterfeit stamps infringing on copyrights of many companies and artists. Should this be allowed to continue?

I could not find the artist that created these images. Here is an enlarged image of the artists signature. Perhaps you can help us find the artist to let them know what is going on with their artwork.

Anyone selling these is either a criminal or is unknowingly supporting the counterfeit illegal stamp industry. Avoid any dealer that offers them and alert any collector that has them of what they really are. Fake counterfeit stamps made by criminals bent on ripping you off!

As you can see it appears only one illegal stamp producer is making them. In 2010 the production of illegal stamps for the Ivory Coast appears to be taken over by a different producer. A completely different style....
