Information and Reference of illegal stamps dating 2021 for the Republic of Guinea

Because there is so much confusion on this country you should use a respectable catalog like Scott or Stanley Gibbons. Do not listen to these dealers trying to convince you the following displayed stamps (that are watermarked "ILLEGAL STAMPS") are something other than counterfeit illegal stamps. Because in many cases Michel is the only catalog listing certain issues I do not trust them as a reliable source. The same goes for Yvert. In the majority of cases with this countries stamps that are suspect of being illegal, just try to find a genuinely used one on a cover. You will find it.....impossible.

None of the Republic of Guinea stamps are listed on the UPU's WNS system. This is because none of them follow the rules set forth by the UPU for stamp printing.

I have found the Colnect online catalog to be helpful but confusing. Over 12,000 listings there now caused by the abusive stamp agencies.

I have found the Stampworld.com Catalog to be helpful as well. Noting they stopped listing after 2013. This is probably because all the Stamperija issues are sold directly through the agent and not used in the Republic as stated on the Colnect site for the later years.

Many of the following illegal stamps can be found as imperforates and as color proof sets as well. Many exist on fake First Day Covers too.
Most times now (2021) the souvenir sheet sets and sheetlet sets are sold individually. Many times the stamps have been removed from the sheetlets and souvenir sheets. All of these "tactics" are used to avoid detection by UPU circular descriptions.

Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.

The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.

If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.

2021

From 2006 to present time no more illegal stamps were produced by the British and Eastern European producers namely because Stamperija has and is still retaining contracts with the Republic of Guinea postal authorities. This all changed in 2015.

One thing on the Stamperija stamps being produced in the name of the Republic of Guinea. In 2021 according to what is listed on the Colnect online catalog as of September and only listed in Michel and/or Yvert catalogs, Stamperija produced 117 sets of souvenir sheets of 4 and 1 equal to 585 different stamps! They made 52 more sets of souvenir sheets of 3 and 1 equal to 208 different stamps! They went crazy with WWF stamps with all kinds of ridiculous value change overprints creating this huge hodge podge of various souvenir sheets of 8 and 16 using 40 variations of the stamps with and without overprints. They made a souvenir sheet of 8 on the topic of minerals. They made this "off shoot" set on various animals totaling 17 different stamps. Two souvenir sheets of 1 on the topic of musicians in the form of a large circle. And of course continuing the ridiculous stamp on stamp series with another souvenir sheet of 2 and 2 souvenir sheets of 1.

This makes a total of over 860 different stamps made and it is only September of 2021! I say TOTAL ABUSE!

The Stampworld online catalog stopped listing Stamperija stamps after 2013 which is good! Both online catalogs should have stopped in 2009!
None of the "issues" have any topics on the culture or history of the Republic of Guinea except the few "local" issues of which as of September 2021 I see NONE. All continue to be on topics like Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and so forth. This is one reason they are determined to be abusive stamps and have been stressed by many from the top (UPU) down to be avoided.
Have they reported any of the following illegal stamps on their funky illegal stamps page? Again.....of course not!

In 2015 the Russian based dealers who I believe are also the producers appear. The company is called Topnimarka.com located in Moscow Russia.
They have created a new website called stamps-world.eu as well in 2019. Everything they are selling is fake and counterfeit stamps.
They are mass producing counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of many countries. The "styles" unique to themselves, these people are producing and selling counterfeit stamps at a massive rate dating to current times. They are producing fake stamps for countries controlled by Stamperija. Stamperija's owner has stated that he knows who most of the counterfeit producers are and has some control over stopping their productions at least for countries he has contracts with. This is shown to have happened with the Republic of Guinea. No illegal stamps by the previous producers found after 2006. This is not the case for this producer. Being located in Russia, I guess they believe that nobody can stop them. I am exposing them which is the first step.
I note that Stamperija knows who these people are and what is being produced. Yet even though they know, they are not warning anyone including the postal authorities of the countries this company is distributing counterfeits in the name of that are contracted by Stamperija.

The Russian based company has produced the following counterfeit illegal stamps dating 2021 in the name of the Republic of Guinea. They are not commonly seen on the main stamp market because we are fighting for you to keep them off the main market. Should this company be allowed to run accounts on the main stamp venues like eBay and Delcampe, you will see a new flood of illegal stamps worse than ever seen before. This company is consistently trying to create new accounts on the venues to move them into the main stream market. Should you see them on sites like eBay and Delcampe, you can report them to me and I can assure you that they will not be there long!

I discovered the company has and will create new illegal stamp sets and "back-date" them as if made in prior years.
I note them as such and tell you when they were really created. For 2021 obviously none are made.

As of September 2021 this company has made and is still selling 1 counterfeit illegal stamp souvenir sheet set inscribed Republique de Guinee dating 2021. For the past 8 months nothing except the following set has been added. Due most likely because of the Covid-19 pandemic. I am quite certain this clown will "start up" again when the problem is over. Disney should be after this guy as well as a million other organizations, countries and collectors! Avoid!

Also noting the user noted below is probably attempting to sell some of these at present time. The same user was running the account with the user name kir30kirill as shown on the earlier pages where I spotted many counterfeits being sold before the user was kicked off eBay as he was offering over 5,000 different sales of which all of them did not have the country name nor year made in the titles in the criminals attempts to "hide" from experts like myself. This criminal is still at it today as we have discovered he is selling under the user name topni_76 on eBay using the same tactics. Avoid!

Will this continue? It will as long as nobody takes the needed steps to get rid of criminals that produce and sell counterfeit illegal stamps!
