Information and Reference of illegal stamps dating 2014 in the name of Eritrea

Eritrea has always been a very conservative stamp issuing entity. In 2014 Eritrea did not issue any stamps.

To find out what stamps are real and legitimate for Eritrea you can visit the following online catalogs. I found that Eritrea listed their 2002 and 2003 stamp issues in the UPU's WNS system but then stopped so it is not a good resource to verify genuine stamps from to present day stamps.

Many of the following illegal stamps can be found as imperforates and as color proof sets as well. Many exist on fake First Day Covers too.
Most times now (2021) the souvenir sheet sets and sheetlet sets are sold individually. Many times the stamps have been removed from the sheetlets and souvenir sheets. All of these "tactics" are used to avoid detection by UPU circular descriptions.

Sellers that call these "private", "locals", "Cinderella's", "unauthorized" are deceiving you. They are counterfeit illegal stamps produced by a stamp dealer that is bent on ripping you off! Some sellers state "we offer them because they are on the market". Well how about you use a different dealer because that seller is "on the market"? If the stamp societies, auction sites and all other venues kicked these sellers off of their sites then they would have to comply or lose their ability to sell anything.

The following images are free for the use of all to use to alert the public to them. If anyone wants to make a public list of users on eBay, Delcampe and elsewhere who are selling these issues....fine by me since the UPU, PWMO and others appear to have given up or have not been updated in years.

If you have purchased any of these stamps from a dealer or if that dealer offers them, you should avoid that dealer! You will only be supporting illegal stamp makers who are only ripping you off.

2014

In 2014 the company based in Russia called Topnimarka produces a large number of counterfeit sets in the name of Eritrea. Several sets appear as well dating 2014 produced either by an Eastern European producer or possibly even the British producer of the earlier Eritrean illegal stamps. The style very similar to their brand. Due to the style of the souvenir sheet of one though of the Gagarin set which match with the Topnimarka sets and the listed sellers of them it was most likely Topnimarka who made that set. First I will show those and who is selling them and then I will show the Topnimarka counterfeits listed on their website.

In 2015 the Russian based dealers who I believe are also the producers appear. The company is called Topnimarka.com located in Moscow Russia.
They have created a new website called stamps-world.eu as well in 2019. Everything they are selling is fake and counterfeit stamps.
They are mass producing counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of many countries. The "styles" unique to themselves, these people are producing and selling counterfeit stamps at a massive rate dating to current times.

The Russian based company has produced the following counterfeit illegal stamps dating 2014 in the name of Eritrea. They are not commonly seen on the main stamp market because we are fighting for you to keep them off the main market. Should this company be allowed to run accounts on the main stamp venues like eBay and Delcampe, you will see a new flood of illegal stamps worse than ever seen before. This company is consistently trying to create new accounts on the venues to move them into the main stream market. Should you see them on sites like eBay and Delcampe, you can report them to me and I can assure you that they will not be there long!

Because this company did not appear online until 2015 it is not known if these following sets were actually made in 2014 or if they just back dated them all for the year. This company is proven to use this tactic on many other sets in the name of many other countries. The following sets dating 2014 are all that this company produced in the name of Eritrea. they do not list anything else dating in later years. As suddenly as they started...they stopped.

I found these counterfeit illegal stamps were being sold by Topnimarka as user kir30kirill on eBay in early 2020 before the user was kicked off for selling counterfeits.

All went quiet again until 2017 when another onslaught of counterfeits in the name of Eritrea appears.
