Information and Reference of illegal stamps dating 2005 for the Comoro Islands according to U.P.U. Circular 140

The Universal Postal Union published another Circular on April 30, 2007 denouncing illegal stamps at the request of the Postal Administration for Comoros. This Circular was also validated by K. J. S. McKeown, now called the Director of Markets Development of the UPU Secretariat. The circular is number 140. You can view it in the linked file below:

In this circular it describes a mass of counterfeit illegal stamps made in the name of the Comoros Islands namely created in 2004 through 2006.

Although there are many discrepancies within all of the following sites, for the most part, to find out what stamps are real and legitimate for the Comoros Islands you can first go to this website and view their catalog of stamps which shows you what was issued from beginning to present time according to a representative for them.

The site only shows issues up to 2007 (probably because the abusive stamp agent Stamperija gained contracts in 2008 forward) and has not been updated since 2010.

You can visit the UPU WNS website and look at the Comoros section. Sadly, we see a huge gap between 2007 to 2019 caused by the damage caused by Stamperija.

Or use a respectable catalog like Scott or Stanley Gibbons. Do not listen to these dealers trying to convince you they are something other than counterfeit illegal stamps.

2005

In 2005 the Comoro Islands issued 4 stamps. Therefore any stamp in the name of the Comoro Islands dating 2005 other than those four stamps is a
COUNTERFEIT ILLEGAL STAMP!

In 2005 the British producer changed the style and format of the counterfeit stamps he produced in the name of the Comoro Islands. The style has an uncanny similarity to some of the issues produced by Stamperija in 2009. A prediction of what was to come? It is now with certainty that there is a collaboration between the major illegal stamp dealers and Stamperija. The owner of Stamperija already acknowledged to knowing who some of the illegal stamp producers are and how he has some control over them not producing illegal stamps in the name of countries Stamperija gains contracts with.

This is shown again as the pattern is repeated again with this country as it was for Djibouti and other victimized countries who allowed contracts with Stamperija. In present times (2021) we see the adding of massive numbers of Stamperija produced stock being added to the major illegal stamp dealers sales in what looks to be collaboration to continue production of illegal stamps in the name of certain countries presently controlled by Stamperija. Chad (Tchad) is a good example. This collaboration is of course with the British producers side of things. Certain major distributors of the British producers counterfeits suddenly in the past year adding Stamperija stock to their sales and continuing to pump out new counterfeit illegal stamps at the same time. Interesting yes? They are...getting desperate? Possibly as a result of my exposure to what they have done and are still doing to this day.

In 2005 the British counterfeit producer created five different counterfeit souvenir sheets on the topic of Art. Only one of them is described in circular 140.

This is the only sheet described in circular 140. The other four Art related counterfeits following this one were not caught by the postal authorities.

These last two counterfeit sheets were not caught by the postal authorities of the Comoro Islands either.

In 2006 the British producer takes the European Space set of counterfeit stamps and makes single stamp souvenir sheets out of them.
