In the research on counterfeit illegal stamps made in the name of Burundi, it is known that several sets were produced in 2017 and 2018 in the name of what at the time was the capital of Burundi, Bujumbura.

Bujumbura, formerly Usumbura, is the largest city and main port of Burundi. It ships most of the country's chief export, coffee, as well as cotton and tin ore. Bujumbura was formerly the country's capital. I note the con dealer plonto123 on eBay has broken the counterfeit stamps from the sheet trying to evade detection. Avoid!

2018

In 2018 a large production of counterfeits on the topic of cars in the name of Bujumbura were created and placed on the stamp market. Some try to call them "Cinderella" stamps. They are far from that! Just like the counterfeit illegal stamps in the name of so many Russian provinces and territories and the same for other countries, just because they use the name of a city within the country does not classify them as a Cinderella stamp. They were made with intent to deceive unknowing collectors as if they were a legal stamp issuing entity, which Bujumbura is not.

It is obvious that sales must not be good for this garbage as after this set, no more counterfeits have been made in the name of Bujumbura. Avoid all of the following and especially avoid the clown sellers listed who are selling them!
