SAINT VINCENT GRENADINES LEADERS OF THE WORLD 8TH SERIES 50c TRAINS PROGRESSIVE COLOR PROOF STAMPS

The printer was in process of producing a "made for collector" error for this particular value. A perforated variety of this
error does exist thus evidence that it was fully produced.

Noting on the all colors proofs that the missing red error is in place. At this time it appears there are no all colors proofs with both the primary and
secondary red stages applied. In theory the secondary red stage was applied as the last stage.

There were 5000 pairs of each of the 1979 D.B. Class 120 Bo-Bo Train Stamp progressive color proofs made for Saint Vincent Grenadines.
The quantity is unknown on how many perforated missing red error pairs were made. Past practices would put them at 3,000 produced. Actual
quantities that still exist is unknown.
5,000 imperforate pairs of the missing red variety exist. I estimate at least 5,000 of the normal imperforates exist as 5,000 was the standard produced.
The 5,000 imperforate missing red error stamps were produced with the progressive color proofs as the finals proof stamps.
